In 1976, the military of Argentina throw away the government and started its dictatorship. The military started to do its dirty activities in the name of dictatorship. A dirty war was started and it was not with any outside force but with the people of Argentina. The seven years of military dictatorship were horrifying for the people of Argentina. During the dictator, a large number of children were kidnapped and they were tortured and brutally killed. By seeing this kind of insecurity in whole Argentina, the families of abducted children came on roads and started to protest against the military dictatorship. Firstly, these strikes were on small scale but with growing brutal behavior of military, protest against dictatorship started on each and every corner of country. Opposition was crushed badly during these years of military dictatorship. The murder of students and targeted killing of intellectuals became common in these years.
Despite of the brutal behavior of military towards the public, the strikes of victims became successful and army generals were out of power in 1983. The era of military dictator was very terrifying as the people involved in concentration camps which were set against the ruthless behavior of military were badly killed or tortured. One of the best trap for such people was to drug them and then throw their dead bodies across the Atlantic Ocean. The armed killed those people in such way that they never existed and removed their identities. The leaders of military condemned to life imprisonment in 1985 for crimes against humanity.
